How do I log in if I have forgotten my password?

Try to log in again. If you enter an incorrect password, you will be prompted to enter your email address and a new password will be sent to you immediately.

 

I am not a member, how do I sign up?

Simply click the “new user” button, enter a few personal details, and click “sign up”. You are now logged in.

 

Who can sign up?

Anyone with an interest in our business area.

 

Navigation

How do I return to the front page?

Either click “Home” on the top of the page or click the “Thinking Buildings Universe” logo.

 

Front Page

Where do I search, if I use the search bar on the front page?

You search in our lexicon database.

 

How do I customise the front page?

Click the “my page” tab and select the content / elements / favourites you want on your personal front page.

OR

You can drag and drop the boxes from the “Did you know” bar at the bottom.

 

What is drag and drop?

It refers to moving the boxes on the front page with your mouse. Simply left click the dotted square in the top left corner of a box and hold the mouse button. Then move the box to a position of your choice.

 

How do I move the boxes?

Left click the square in the top left corner of the bar, hold the button, and drag the box to the desired position and release the button.

 

“Did you know” bar

I cannot see selected elements in the “Did you know” bar?

To see this you need to install a free Flash player. Click here to install: Flash

 

How do I find more “Did you know” elements?

By clicking the arrows on each side of the “Did you know” bar, new elements will appear.

 

Quick Pump Selection

What can I find in the “Quick pump selection”?

It offers to find the correct pumps according to your requirements with just a few clicks with the mouse.

 

How do I search?

Start by defining the application. Depending on the chosen application the pump design option will be narrowed down to only the relevant type of designs.

 

But, I don’t know the product name!?

Leave it out or go to “products” and define the pump name in the “Quick Reference”.

 

I don’t know the H or Q?

The more specific information, the better, but you don’t necessarily need to fill in all the fields. If you don’t know all the numbers, just leave them out and make a search without them.

 

Language

How do I find my own language version?

In the drop down menu in the top right corner, you can select language. If your language is not yet available, then choose “International”.

 

How many Languages are available?

At the moment we offer 13 language versions. More will follow in the future.

 

Products

How do I find the right pump?

I know my application, but I don’t know the pump name?

Click “Products” in the menu and select the “Quick reference” tab. Select the product range that fits your application.

 

I know the pump type but not the specific name?

Select “Product Families” and click the pump you are looking for.

 

I know my Q and H, but how do I find a pump that matches them?

Click the relevant application in “Quick Reference” and see which pump(s) meets your requirements

 

Which should I choose “Quick reference” or “Quick pump selection”?

Use the Quick Pump Selection tool if you already know your project’s exact requirements.

Use Quick Reference if you only know your application area.

 

Lexicon

I have a pump related word that I don’t understand?

Search the lexicon from the search bar on the front page or in the lexicon. If you cannot find a definition, then maybe the term has not yet been defined. If you need more information, please feel free to call us or contact us by email.

 

I’m uncertain about the spelling of a word. How do I best find it?

Click the “Search the Grundfos CBS Lexicon alphabetically“ below the search field and search by the first letter of the word.

 

 

Download

How do I find brochures and other material?

The “Download” section offers a variety of brochures, data booklets etc.

 

How do I print the material?

Once you have found and opened/downloaded the material, simply click the Print/PDF button in the top right corner and then save or print the document.

 

I cannot open the files / brochures?

The material is saved as PDF files. To open the documents, you need to download the free PDF document reader “Acrobat reader”. Click here to download: Acrobat reader.

 

Case search

Where can I find references or case stories?

Click “Downloads” in the menu bar. Then, click Case stories in the “Show me” box on the right

 

How do I download/print case stories?

Click “Downloads” in the menu bar and choose “Case stories” in the “Show me box on the right. Then, you can search for a case story that meets your specific requirements. If you wish to save or print the case story, simply click the Print/PDF button in the top right corner in the new window and then save or print the document.
