EuP Directive
The EuP Directive’s chief aim is to improve the energy efficiency of energy-using products (EuPs). It thus contributes towards reaching the European Union’s targets for climate protection.
Motors
The overall energy efficiency of pumps is derived from the usage of motors. The EuP Directive states that from June 16th 2011, motors sold in the European Union must meet the IE2 efficiency level.
