Grundfos SL1 and SLV pumps

Grundfos SL1 and SLV pumps are the ideal choice for the pumping of wastewater, process water, and unscreened raw sewage in commercial -, municipal -, utility applications.
The pumps are fitted with motor sizes from 1.1kW to 11kW and available with either DIN or ANSI connection flanges.

These two advanced series of pumps are available with high efficient single-channel (SL1) or Super Vortex (SLV) impeller allowing for free passage of solids up to 100mm (4 Inch). A high efficient pump that – without compromising free passage – greatly reduces the risk of clogging and ensures maximum up-time and low operating costs.

The SL1 and SLV pumps are designed for submerged installation. They can be permanently installed by means of an auto-coupling system or with a fixed pipe. The pumps are also suitable for freestanding installation, or as portable utility pumps.

Variants

Grundfos SL1 and SLV pumps are designed for three-phase voltage supply. All types are designed for voltage tolerances of –10%/+6%.

The SL1 and SLV ranges can be configured in many different ways. As an example we offer pumps with either cast iron SuperVortex impeller or a cast stainless steel impeller executed according to EN 1.4408.

 

Pumped liquid and operating conditions

SL1 and SLV pumps are the ideal solution for the handling of wastewater, process water, and unscreened raw sewage in commercial -, municipal -, utility applications with a pH range from 6 to 14.

The pumps are designed for fully submerged continuous operation or partly submerged intermittent operation with a maximum of 20 starts per hour.

 

Maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is: +40°C.

For short periods, maximum one hour, up to 60°C is permissible (non-Ex versions only).

Ambient temperature limitations:  40°C

Maximum submersion: 20m
